arrow_back There's a very nice article which discusses the background of nonstandard analysis, and explains how it is used, which was published a few years ago in the Mathematical Intelligencer. The reference for it is:

In fact, this article goes beyond explaining nonstandard analysis, and makes a case for saying it's the real way analysis should be done.
